Our approach
Welcome Foundry designs shared components to be perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust across common browsers, screen sizes, keyboards, and assistive technologies. The current engineering target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA for platform-controlled experiences; this is a product target, not a certification or guarantee.
Shared practices
- Semantic headings, landmarks, labels, and meaningful document structure.
- Keyboard-accessible navigation and controls with visible focus treatment.
- Readable color contrast, responsive layouts, zoom support, and reduced-motion awareness where motion is used.
- Alternative text fields and content-review checks for customer-provided images.
- Clear validation and status messaging for forms and interactive workflows.
- Regression testing of shared components at common mobile, tablet, and desktop sizes.
Customer content and third parties
Accessibility also depends on customer-supplied text, images, videos, documents, colors, destinations, and third-party services. Welcome Foundry provides structured fields and review guidance, but customers remain responsible for the accuracy, rights, and accessibility implications of their supplied material. Unsupported third-party tools may be declined.
Known limitations and improvement
No website is guaranteed to work identically with every device, browser, assistive technology, or user configuration. Shared defects are treated as platform work and do not consume the customer's monthly content allowance. Measured feedback and recurring needs guide reusable fixes rather than customer-specific patches.

We will acknowledge routine feedback within the published support objective and prioritize barriers by impact.
